Who Is Pulse of the City

Pulse of the City is an organization who discovered that customer service was lacking in the building industry and decided to focus on improving that. While “build quality” is typically the measure of performance in the industry, little attention is given to the ability to produce happy owners. This organization was founded to spread enhanced customer experience in the building and construction industry by:

• researching, rating and recognizing the Stars in the field (with our unparalleled research and rating process)
• learning about better customer service from those Stars
• reporting on that learning to all who are interested
• providing resources (through The Stirling Center) to everyone who wishes to improve their own customer experience
• promoting and rewarding the Stars in the field to help them grow and expand their excellence
• Fostering the development of more Star performers for the betterment of the industry, its participants and the individuals behind those Stars

A Better Rating System for Performance

Pulse of the City News’ research finds companies in the building & construction trade who deliver the best combination of superior construction/building services AND great customer service. Their Stars have won the highest ratings based on independent research from their database of customers that has been building since 2009. Their review system takes into account information from many sources, online and other, for a broader view of performance. They also follow a proprietary protocol for analysis. The goal of all of this is to separate the reality from the smoke and noise that occurs under some other rating systems.
